A new form of transportation
Well after a long, long , process we have some final results on transportation. The Camper was totalled and after some very tiring weekends, in three vehicles, we have realized that a bus would be the best mode of transportation, for a variety of reasons. We have found and purchased a bus from a gentleman in GA. It will be a blessing for the kids to all have a space to call there own.
As you would imagine, the bus was not cheap, but we continue to try to be the best stewards of the donations that are sent to the ministry. We have ,for the majority of 10 years, functioned as a debt free ministry. We would appreciate any donations toward paying off the bus as we strive to quickly be a debt free ministry again. All donations are tax deductible due to our status as a non-profit ministry.
May / June Update
Wow, how the months pass by. We have had some great times over the past 2 months. The family finished the music and vocals on the new project and it is now in the hands of the producer and graphic designer. It will probably be late August till it's release but we are very excited about the songs.
We've had an eventfull May and June. Kelsey had a birthday in May and is now our BIG eight year old. Margaret and Jeff had birthday's in June and Jeff and Fawn celebrated their 23rd anniversary on the road. Sharon also graduated high School and has been accepted at a college in PA. I'm not sure how much more we could have packed into these months.
We ended June with an exciting concert. We actually sang in the rain. A picnic for the Free Grace BIC church, unfortunatlly, turned to rain so the family sang under a canopy while the people sat under a pavillion. Scott said he's never had such a captive audience(literally). I think that a great time was had by all in spite of the rain. Of course, the rain stopped after the concert.
The whole family is anticipating a Beach trip in July to Ocean City, MD. (We will be the pail people by the water).
Be imitators of God , therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. Ephesians 5:1-2
March / April Update
We have been busy traveling over the past month and a half. In March we were with some wonderful churches in NJ. Then we took off and traveled to Pigeon Forge, TN for the SGM Fan Fair. The family sang Wednesday night and Thursday afternoon. There are a lot of wonderful groups who participate in the Fan Fair. We enjoyed meeting SG groups from all over.
On returning from TN, we enjoyed a evening of great food and music at the PSGMA Dinner Concert in Greencastle, PA.
The big news in April is that we are working on the newest CD. The gang was back in TN to work on the music with our producer, Kevin Ward, right before Easter. We are very excited about this new project ,unfortunately it takes months to get a CD completed. Keep checking back on the news page for updates.
